Introduce yourself!

If it don't go elsewhere, it goes here.

Emzie, formerly contre, plz don't call me contre.
Were you called something else before contre, as well? I might be going mad but I vaguely remember you having another name at the start.
Try to be the reason some guy receives a free fidget spinner.

Space.

Space space space space I must go to space SPACE!

I am a huge space nerd. Crap I just realized I missed one of our launches. I had no plans to stay up till 2am to watch it fly out of Vandy but I wound up spending hours here and I still missed it. I'm genuinely pissed at myself right now. It's a night launch, I likely could have seen it from my building too. Jesus

Yeah I like space.

Edit: The coast between the 1st, 2nd and 3rd burns of the second stage were longer than I thought they would be and I actually got to watch the tail end of the launch. :)

Hi, all:

I'm usually the resident Canadian, but I see there are quite a few of us here. So I'll just be the resident cat lady (please, no references to "crazy" cat ladies; it's really annoying).

Being a crazy cat lady is something I aspire to :)

Being a cat lady is one thing. There are several of us here in this building, and the most memorable is the lady who used to be my across-the-hall neighbor before I moved in March. Her cat is HUGE. She's the size of a small dog (not a puppy or miniature), and she walks on a leash.

Very friendly cat, though. When I visited this lady a few weeks ago, she told me that her cat kept sniffing under my door, and being disappointed that my cat wasn't there anymore.

But being a "crazy" cat lady means having people sneer and belittle and say you should get rid of your cats because they're "inconvenient" or because they shed, or because apparently 2 cats is "too many." So that's why I would prefer not to be called or considered that here (or anywhere else). I've had too many RL arguments with people who said, "You should get rid of at least one of your cats." There really are people who think that having a cat is a sign of mental illness.
